[edit] Image Tagging Image:StevenLamy2.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:StevenLamy2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BRossow 02:11, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

[edit] Fight On, indeed :-)

It appears the Directorship of SIR has changed again (I forgot how long the terms normally are), the website says its now Laurie Brand[1] (that link also does the "second oldest school of international affairs in the United States and the third oldest in the world." quote, so I guess LSE isn't the 2nd oldest). As for previous Directors, I know that immediately before Lamy it was Aronson, and Bender has served as Director in the past as well. I envy your location, I live out in the Twin Cities now, so whenever I get back to visit campus it's either a game weekend or a holiday. All the best and happy editing! --Bobak 15:12, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject International Relations

I propose to create a wikiproject concerning the field of international relations. Wikipedia has a number of articles relating to IR, and it seems like there would be enough editors with interest in this field to make such a project viable. If you have any thoughts/would be interested in such a project, feel free to leave a message on this talk page.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:SIR Logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:SIR Logo.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] WikiProject query

Hi there, I am doing some clean up on the list of proposed WikiProjects. I noticed that WikiProject International Relations has been listed for more than 60 days. Unless you object, I would like to remove it from the list since it is unlikely to receive further feedback. Thanks! --Aguerriero (talk) 15:06, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Terrorist?

I do not know when I will have time. I am going to go down the 'break off from the discussion' route first - ie. I am going to be busy for the next week anyway so I'll see how things are when I get back. It definitely needs resolving though, as including a blanket labelling would be against WP:NPOV and WP:WTA. -Localzuk(talk) 23:53, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for starting that. Hopefully we will get some more idea of what people think.-Localzuk(talk) 06:32, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Could you give your opinion at [2]? Thanks. yandman 07:40, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
