Troy Amos-Ross

Troy Amos-Ross (born July 17, 1975 in Georgetown, Guyana) is a retired Guyanese Canadian boxer, who competed in the light heavyweight (< 81 kg) division at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. There the resident of Brampton, Ontario was stopped in quarterfinals by Kazakhstan's eventual gold medalist Vassili Jirov, after having defeated Roland Raforme (Seychelles) and Paul M'Bongo (Cameroon). Amos-Ross also competed for Canada at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
