Trowbridge railway station is a railway station on the Wessex Main Line between Bradford on Avon and Westbury. Regular service is provided by First Great Western to Bath, Bristol and Cardiff in the north and Weymouth, Southampton and Portsmouth in the south. A branch line to Chippenham diverges to the north of Trowbridge, carrying limited passenger services and providing trains to Melksham. Trowbridge is also currently served by three South West Trains services a day from Bristol Temple Meads to London Waterloo in each direction, one of which originates and terminates at Salisbury.
