Trousseau gris

Trousseau gris (or Gray Riesling) is a white wine grape variety occasionally found in Jura and was once widely planted in California Now nearly gone only one small commercial vineyard now exsists in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley.

It is a white mutation of the red Trousseau grape. In California it was widely used as a varietal wine, under the Gray Riesling name. In the cool coastal area it is medium to low producing vine & can make very interesting wines.
