Tropical Storm Vance
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The name Vance has been used to name one tropical cyclone in the Northeast Pacific, and one in the Southern Hemisphere. It should not be confused with Hurricane Vince (2005).
Vance is used on the modern six-year lists in the Eastern Pacific:
- 1990's Hurricane Vance - a Category 2 storm whose path included a loop but never approached land.
Vance was also used to name at least one cyclone in the Southern Hemisphere.
- 1998-1999's Cyclone Vance - powerful storm that caused heavy damage in Western Australia.
