Trophy Club is a town in Denton County, Texas, United States. The population was 6,350 at the 2000 census.

Trophy Club is located at 33°0′2″N, 97°11′35″W (33.000507, -97.193181)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 10.5 km² (4.1 mi²). 10.5 km² (4.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.25% is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 6,350 people, 2,271 households, and 1,934 families residing in the town. The population density was 605.4/km² (1,568.0/mi²). There were 2,483 housing units at an average density of 236.7/km² (613.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 93.43% White, 1.65% African American, 0.30% Native American, 1.76% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 1.17% from other races, and 1.62% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.17% of the population.

There were 2,271 households out of which 43.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 78.6% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.8% were non-families. 12.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.80 and the average family size was 3.05.

In the town the population was spread out with 28.6% under the age of 18, 4.0% from 18 to 24, 33.0% from 25 to 44, 28.2% from 45 to 64, and 6.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 104.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.6 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $92,492, and the median income for a family was $93,990. Males had a median income of $72,625 versus $36,845 for females. The per capita income for the town was $37,707. About 1.2% of families and 1.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 2.1% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.

The town is served by the Northwest Independent School District.

Trophy Club is governed by a Council-Manager form of government, in which the mayor serves as figure head for the Town Council. The Town Council is comprised of 5 voting members, and the mayor only votes in cases of a tie vote.

The town's elected officials (as of December 2006) are: Nick Sanders, Mayor Philip Sterling, Council Member Roger Williams, Council Member Greg Lamont, Council Member Pamela Cates, Council Member Susan Edstrom, Council Member

Susan Edstrom, Pamela Cates, and Roger Williams are all serving their second or greater term in office. Nick Sanders, Philip Sterling, and Greg Lamont are all serving their first term. Philip Sterling is Trophy Club's youngest elected official, elected at the age of 26.
