I question whether this album and band meet the notability requirements at Notability. Self-published? Philippe Beaudette 03:42, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

The article is not self-published. Shooglenifty regularly receives international press coverage in mainstream media and therefore meets the notability requirements as I understand them. The album has been reviewed in media such as The Guardian which you can check out here: Guardian review of Troots. Besides, shouldn't the deletion request be aimed at Shooglenifty instead of just the album Troots if notability is in question? I suggest you read through the Shooglenifty article, check out some links, and reconsider the deletion. Strobilus 04:05, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
