- June 1, 2007 - Official start of the Central Pacific and Atlantic hurricane seasons.
- June 2, 2003 - Tropical Storm Nangka (pictured) reached its peak strength near to Taiwan.
- June 3, 1982 - Cyclone 02B hit India near Paradip, killing 140 and destroying half a million homes.
- June 4, 2001 - Tropical Storm Allison made landfall on southeastern Texas. Allison caused record levels of rainfall along much of its path, with the resulting flooding (pictured) killing 41 and causing $5.5 billion of damage, making Allison the costliest tropical storm on record.
- June 5, 1995 - Hurricane Allison (pictured) hit Florida in the Big Bend area. Allison only killed 1 person and caused under $2 million of damage.
- June 6, 1999 - Typhoon Maggie (pictured) made landfall in China to the east of Hong Kong as a 150 km/h (90 mph) typhoon. Maggie killed a total of 8 people and caused only minor damages.
- June 7, 1973 - Hurricane Ava (track pictured) reached its peak strength as a Category 5 hurricane, becoming the only Pacific hurricane to reach that strength in June.
- June 8, 1966 - Hurricane Alma (pictured) hit western Cuba causing severe flooding. The storm claimed a total of 90 lives and caused over $200 million of damage.
- June 9, 1934 - The 1934 Central America Hurricane (track pictured) made its second landfall in British Honduras (now Belize) as a minimal hurricane. The storm killed between 1000 and 3000 in Central America.
- June 10, 1974 - Typhoon Dinah hit Luzon in the Philippines. Dinah killed 73 people in the Philippines, Hainan and Vietnam.
- June 11, 2005 - Tropical Storm Arlene (pictured) made landfall on the Florida Panhandle causing about $12 million of damage throughout the eastern United States.
- June 12, 2004 - Typhoon Chanthu (pictured) made landfall in Vietnam, killing 7 people. Chanthu caused brought over 230 mm (9.4 inches) of rain to the country.
- June 13, 2006 - Tropical Storm Alberto (pictured) made landfall on the Florida Panhandle as a strong tropical storm. Alberto brought heavy rain to the southeastern United States, causing about $500,000 in damage.
- June 14, 1904 - The first storm of the 1904 Atlantic hurricane season (track pictured) hit Cuba, killing at least 87 people there.
- June 15, 1991 - Typhoon Yunya (pictured) hit Luzon in the Philippines, the same day as Mount Pinatubo made its largest eruption. The rainfall from the typhoon mixed with the volcanic ash causing severe lahars.
- June 16, 2004 - Typhoon Dianmu (pictured) reached its peak with a central pressure of 915 hPa (mbar) to the south of Japan. Dianmu killed 3 a few days later in Japan.
- June 17, 1971 - Hurricane Bridget (track pictured) passed just to the south of Acapulco, Mexico, bringing gusts of 100 mph (155 km/h) to the city. Many ships, including some naval ships, were sunk killing 40 people and causing $40 million of damage.
- June 18, 1965 - Typhoon Dinah hit Taiwan with winds of 220 km/h (140 mph). Dinah killed a total of 45 people and destroyed 5000 homes in Taiwan.
- June 19, 1959 - The 1959 Escuminac Hurricane (track pictured) looped in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, sinking 22 of 54 fishing boats from Escuminac, New Brunswick. The storm claimed a total of 35 lives.
- June 20, 1993 - Tropical Storm Arlene (pictured) made landfall on Padre Island, Texas. Arlene killed a total of 29 and caused about $55 million of damage, with most of the deaths occurring while it was a tropical wave.
- June 21, 1989 - Hurricane Cosme (track pictured) made landfall to the east of Acapulco, Mexico. Cosme killed 30 people and contributed to the development of Tropical Storm Allison
- June 22, 1972 - Hurricane Agnes (track pictured) made landfall near New York City. Agnes killed 129 and caused over $2 billion of damage throughout the eastern United States, with the worst of the damage in Pennsylvania and New York.
- June 23, 2001 - Typhoon Chebi (pictured) made landfall near Fuzhou, China. Chebi killed 82 and caused over $440 of damage in mainland China and Taiwan.
- June 24, 1993 - Typhoon Koryn (pictured) reached its peak strength with a central pressure of 910 hPa (mbar) in the Philippine Sea.
- June 25, 1972 - Typhoon Ora (pictured) hit Luzon in the Philippines as a minimal typhoon, killing 131 people.
- June 26, 1989 - Tropical Storm Allison (pictured) reached its peak just off the Texas coast with winds of 50 mph (85 km/h). Flooding from Allison's rainfall caused about $550 million of damage.
- June 27, 1957 - Hurricane Audrey (pictured), the only Category 4 Atlantic hurricane to exist in June, hit the Gulf Coast of the United States. Audrey killed at least 390 and caused over $150 million of damage.
- June 28, 1966 - Typhoon Kit passed just to the east of Honshū, Japan, killing at least 44 people.
- June 29, 2005 - Tropical Storm Bret (track pictured) hit the Mexico coast near Tuxpan, Veracruz. Bret killed 2 and caused about $9 million of damage.
- June 30, 2003 - Tropical Storm Bill (pictured) made landfall in Louisiana, killing 4 and causing $50 million of damage.
