ACOTF: Rabbit-proof fence
Hi, I noticed that you've listed yourself as a participant at Wikipedia:WikiProject Perth. As you may or may not know, the current Wikipedia:Australian Collaboration of the Fortnight is rabbit-proof fence. It would be great if we could put a picture of the actual fence up. Just wondering if you are in a position to take such a picture at all?
(Don't feel obliged to reply to this, but if you like you can leave me a note on my Talk page.) cheers -- pfctdayelise 13:43, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
ps. try not to stress too much! :( it's only the internet.
- No, I'm quite far away from the fence, and it would be too hard to go there. Sorry. ~ Trisreed my talk my contribs 08:30, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

Timetables for A-Series trains
Hey Trisreed. I see that you've added that A-Series trains still operate on the Joondalup line in peak times. Just wondering if you know if the A-Series are ONLY in express peak hour, or do they still operate in the middle of the day on weekdays?--M W Johnson 23:20, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Futurama Portal under attack
Cyberjunkie has nominated for deletion the template that gives portals round corners. The same template the Futurama portal uses for its round corners. He's trying to delete 3 templates I created. Please help maintain selective design amongst portals and support these three templates. Here's the link: Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion#Portal:Box-header-round. They are listed sequentially. There isn't much time left, and it's lucky I found out at all. --Go for it! 03:38, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, you're welcome to comment. However, please disregard Go for it!'s inflamatory remarks and, more so, please understand that your portal is absolutely not "under attack". The issue is about a separate template. Happy editing, --cj | talk 10:40, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Request for edit summary
Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 3% for major edits and 31% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 26 minor edits in the article namespace.)
This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 03:30, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Re: State Route Shields
I was also thinking this the other day, as well as a possible revamp using one of the roadgeek fonts (Specifically Roadgeek 6, google for the set). The desing of the 6s using basic San Serif is incorrect, as well as the 9s and I think a proper road font would look a lot more "real". I also think the Shields are slightly darker (I will take a real life picture, I live on a city route so I am surrounded by the things) , but that can be worked on at another time. I have taken a look at some of your new designs, and you have done the font way too big IMO. I would reduce it down so their is a border of blue shield. But otherwise, you have done an excellent job on the new design. - Boochan 12:18, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Hey Trisreed - Looks like I chose the wrong roadgeek font, I actually ment Roadgeek 2005 Series D, Rather then 6. I think you will find that this one is 100% accurate, sorry to complicate it furher - Otherwise it looks pretty much spot on - keep up the good work =) - Boochan 08:38, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Looking Excellent now. The colour of the shields out in Perth vary a lot from a deeper blue to a lighter blue then we are using, so I think the colour we are using now is fine. Defintely does almost perfectly replicate the ones out on the street =) - Boochan 05:05, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey - The leftovers (Except 86, this can be removed as this route is currently not valid in Perth) are for the various Highways across Australia that use state routes, and that use very low quality (and the previous set) of route pictures in there descriptions. Highways that I am reffering to can be found in the all inclusive list at Highways in Australia. I just thought a complete finish for all the Highways across Australia that utilise state routes that have articles & old, out of date, inferior state route pictures on there articles (e.g Image:Sr49.png) and my older original PNG series) can be updated. - Boochan 09:45, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, I notice you've made all of the route shields in .svg - great work! I was wondering if you'd be able to complete the West Australian set, so I can complete a list of rural roads? Shields needed are:
- State Route 102
- State Route 104
- State Route 107
- State Route 115
- State Route 116
- State Route 120
- State Route 123
- State Route 136
- State Route 138
- Australian Route 91
- Australian Route Alt 94

Please don't
I saw you changed this image with this this one on Mass Rapid Transit (Singapore) and Light Rapid Transit (Singapore). Nah....I don't think changing all jpeg, png, gif to svg ones is a good idea. Does that means even photography becomes svg images too? Anyway, do discuss on the article's talk page about the image change before doing it. Your userpage was briefly delisted by a rogue admin
This user believes that only articles need reflect a NPOV, and that displaying political, religious, or other beliefs using userboxes and user categories should not be banned. |
You have a userbox Template:User UN which links your userpage to United Nations Wikipedians. There is currently a movement to ban userboxes from Wikipedia which are shared and which create List of Wikipedians. Certain admins have taken it upon themselves to preemptively sabotage and/or delete such categories and template. Here is the incident report which reported damage to yours, in which hundreds of userpages were delinked from categories without the users' knowledge. They have been stopped, barely, and the damage reverted— for now.
There is a Wikipedia:Userbox policy poll, which if passed, will make required by policy the damage done to categories and templates such as User UN/United Nations Wikipedians. If you do not want this to happen, I urge you to vote Oppose. in the poll. Support is currently running at about 66%, and your vote could make the difference. It is said to require 75%-80% to be deemed reflective of consensus.
Thank you,

Metroad shields
Another user has already picked up on this, but your shields appear to be the wrong way 'round. From what I can gauge from various photos, the hexagons should be to the same proportion (width > height), but with the points vertical rather than horizontal. Cheers. 20:18, 16 March 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:SmartRider Card.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:SmartRider Card.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:West Coast Eagles.svg)
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:West Coast Eagles.svg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Bastique▼parler voir 14:22, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Westfield Innaloo Megacentre??
Hi, just known that There's a new shopping centre that is for the Westfield Group, and is that Westfield is just acquired that shopping centre recently? Donno is that shopping centre is formerly trading as Centro Innaloo? thanks. :) --Shinjiman ⇔ ♨ 04:52, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
