My name is Erik Guthrie. I am the former Executive Director and the Founder of the non-profit trade association, the ILTA. The International Laser Tag Association, Inc. has no commercial purpose or gain other than to help its members and the industry. I am also the Founder of the Outdoor Laser Tag Association (OLTA).
In my role as Executive Director, I have had the pleasure to meet every significant person in the laser tag history. I have George Carter's home number and still chat with him every couple of months. I have traveled all over the world; visited over 700 locations; and had dinner with virtually every laser tag manufacturer on the planet.
I am currently vice president of sales for Zone Laser Tag, the largest laser tag company in the world. The current Executive Director, Shane Zimmerman, was my assistant for 7 years. Further, I have a good relationship with Jeff Schilling, president of Creative Works, Inc. Jeff is the premier laser tag arena designer on the planet. Alex, the director of TRUTNEE stayed at my home for 3 weeks when he came to the USA last year.
I just wanted to introduce myself and make myself or any of my industry friends available to you. If you need photos of arena, I can get them. If you need photos of equipment, that can be arranged as well. If you need the history of the industry I am at your service. If you want to know anything about laser tag, indoor or outdoors, I will do my best.
