Triplex may refer to:

  • Triplex buildings, a type of three-unit building
  • Movie theater, a cinema with three theaters
  • 2-8-8-8-2 or 2-8-8-8-4, an articulated locomotive
  • a general term used in various industries to indicate something with three main components, materials, etc. Its meaning depending on the particular industry. For instance, in fire protection, triplex may mean a type of yellow powder used in dry chemical fire extingushers, good on three types of fire, or a particular fire protection fabric with three layers. The term triad is often used in a similar fashion.
