From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Triple Cities Hiking Club has been active in the Southern Tier of New York State since 1947[1]. The club hosts hikes that are of varying degrees of difficulty on most weekends throughout the year.

[edit] Schedule

  • Sunday afternoon hikes are planned to last around two hours and cover three to four miles. They are ideal for the beginner hiker. They typically include visits to local, county, and state parks, various state forests, and nearby sections of the Finger Lakes Trail.
  • Saturday hikes are usually four or more hours long and will include a distance of eight to twelve miles. In winter, they may include cross country skiing or snowshoeing.
