Trimley St. Martin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Trimley St. Martin is parish and village between Felixstowe and Ipswich in Suffolk, England.

The village, and its neighbour Trimley St. Mary, are famous for their adjacent churches which were built as the result of a historical family feud. St. Martin's church is the northerly church (At TM276370).

There has been some controversy over plans to build a further 1,500 dwellings on the land owned by Trinity College, Cambridge, with fears that the village identity would be lost, to be replaced by suburban sprawl.
