Tri Sviatitelia (1893)

The Tri Svititelia (Три Святителя) was a pre-dreadnought battleship built for the Imperial Russian Navy. She served with the Black Sea Fleet and fought in World War I. She was based on the Baltic Fleet battleship Navarin with some improvements in armour and armament.
Built by Nikolayev Dockyard, Laid down 1891, launched 12 November 1893 and commissioned 1898. She was modernised in 1911-12. She was captured by the Germans in 1918 and turned over to the British during the Allied invasion of Russia during the Russian Civil War. The Allies wrecked the machinery of the ship to prevent use by the Reds and the remains were scrapped in 1922.
