Treze Futebol Clube, or Treze as they are usually called, is a Brazilian football team from Campina Grande in Paraíba, founded on September 7, 1925.

Treze greatest rivals are Botafogo (PB) and Campinense.

Home stadium is the Presidente Vargas stadium, capacity 10,000.

The club was founded on September 7, 1925 by Antônio Fernandes Bioca and twelve other football fans. These people usually played football at a field where is now João Pessoa street. Antônio Fernandes Bioca is, also, the introducer of football in Paraíba, after bringing the first football to the state.

In 1925, Treze's first team was José Rodolfo, José Casado, Alberto Santos, Zacarias Ribeiro "Cotó" and Plácido Veras "Guiné", Eurico, Zacarias do Ó, José Eloy, Olívio Barreto, Osmundo Lima and José de Castro.

Treze's first match was played on November 6, 1925, where today is located the remains of SANBRA, when Treze beat a local team called Palmeiras 1-0. Plácido Veras, known as Guiné, and also one of the thirteen founders of the club, scored the first goal of Treze in an official match.

Treze's colors are black and white. They usually play in black and white vertical stripes, black shorts and black socks. Its away kit is almost all-white, with the exception being its black socks.

  • The name Treze means Thirteen in English language.
  • The mascot is a rooster because it represents the number 13 in Jogo do Bicho (an illicit gambling game in Brazil).
  • Also, thirteen is the number of the founders of the club.
