Trevor Hemmings

Trevor Hemmings is a Chorley, England-based businessman who owns several race horses and the holiday firm Pontins. He also owns Littlewoods Pools, Blackpool Tower and has a £150 million stake in Scottish & Newcastle.

Hemmings' horse Hedgehunter won the 2005 Grand National at Aintree. He has many other horses who runin high class races throughout the United Kingdom. He also has several horses based with trainer Willie Mullins in Ireland. Hemmings has owned many good and talented horses but his best are undoubtedly Hedgehunter and Trabolgan, winner of the Royal & SunAlliance Chase and Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup in 2005. He also owns the talented Afsoun, who is an exciting prospect for the future.

He owns Ireland's only holiday centre: Trabolgan Holiday Village in County Cork[citation needed]. Trabolgan is also the name of one of his winning horses.

Trevor Hemmings is the majority shareholder in Preston North End F.C.

Hemmings is quoted on the Times Online Rich List to be worth £928m.
