Trevor Griffiths (born 4 April 1935 in Manchester) is an English dramatist.

Originally a teacher he moved to full time writing in 1970, where he has written plays for stage and TV, perhaps most notably Comedians, first staged at the Nottingham Playhouse in 1975 directed by Richard Eyre. The Party, produced at the National Theatre in 1973, was notable for being the last theatre production in which Laurence Olivier performed.
