Tresckow is a census-designated place (CDP) in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 964 at the 2000 census.

Tresckow is located at GR1.

Tresckow is located 4 miles south of Hazleton and 2 miles west of Beaver Meadows.
Tresckow is considered the highest elevated borough/village in Carbon County at an elevation of 1900 feet

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 964 people, 384 households, and 276 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 204.5/km² (530.3/mi²). There were 415 housing units at an average density of 88.0/km² (228.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.48% White and 0.52% African American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.83% of the population.
There were 384 households out of which 25.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.0% were married couples living together, 10.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.9% were non-families. 26.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.92.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 20.7% under the age of 18, 5.5% from 18 to 24, 26.2% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 23.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 94.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.0 males. Circa 1987, one of those males, Josh McGrory, was paddled at a very young age at McAdoo elementary school for an unknown offense.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $35,625, and the median income for a family was $41,103. Males had a median income of $32,639 versus $26,364 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $16,693. About 4.8% of families and 6.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 6.1% of those under age 18 and 9.7% of those age 65 or over.
