Trenes de Buenos Aires

Trenes de Buenos Aires (Spanish for "trains of Buenos Aires") is a passenger railway corportation in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is commonly abbreviated as simply TBA.
From Buenos Aires city, the company operates extensive commuter rail services into the surrounding suburbs in Buenos Aires Province. It runs trains in and out of two principal railway terminals in the central area of the city. From the first of these, Estación Once, TBA operates multiple hourly suburban trains along the branches of its Sarmiento Line to destinations including Moreno Partido, Luján, Lobos, and Mercedes. Also, from its other base at Estación Retiro, trains regularly depart along the three branches of TBA's Mitre Line to destinations including, but not limited to, Tigre, Vicente López, San Isidro, and San Andrés de Giles with connecting service to Zárate.
In addition to the aforementioned commuter rail service, TBA also manages weekly long-distance passenger trains from Estación Retiro into northern Argentina to the cities of Rosario, Santa Fé, and points between. Altogether, between all its commuter and long-distance services, the company runs an estimated 1,000 trains per day and has approximately 147.7 million riders annually, or 500,000 daily. [1]
