Tree2mydoor is a mail order company based in Manchester, UK, specializing in sending personalised tree and wildflower gifts by post. The company was founded in 2003 by Gareth Mitchell.

Tree2mydoor's commercial practices are aimed to encourage fair trade, local trade and product distribution, as well as to encourage more tree planting and to increase fundraising opportunities for charities. The company works with conservation organisations and commercial businesses in a way that benefits the local environment and local economy.

In 2000, Gareth Mitchell had an idea to start a new business sending trees as gifts via an electronic commerce website. In 2002, Mitchell set up Tree2mydoor as a mail order Christmas tree business before forming Tree2mydoor Ltd in September 2003 to sell trees as gifts via www.tree2mydoor.com.

Gareth Mitchell is a fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (founded 1754[1]). Mitchell graduated from the University of Teesside in 2000 and is a graduate and an Ambassador for the New Entrepreneur Scholarship Programme. [2]
