Treat Me Like A Lady is the name of a 1990 hit single by British pop group Five Star, peaking at UK #54 in March of that year and becoming their first single for more than a year with their new record label, Epic.

The group recorded the single in their new hi tech studio (reportdley costing £2.5 million), that was built in the grounds of their family home, Stone Court, in Ascot in Berkshire. The single wasn't a commercial success, but it saw Five Star take a different direction in pop music, having penned and produced the whole album, Five Star, themselves. The video featured the group doing an amazing dance routine, with the names of each group member as a backdrop. The video is a favourite with fans, and is a much sought after video.

By the time "Treat Me Like A Lady" was released and did not make the Top 40, Five Star and the public realised that their run of hits had come to an end. The single was one of their best self-written tracks to date, but surprisingly it did not notch up enough sales to become a major hit. The single was however popular with American fans, and even had its own US version video, soon to be released on their new dvd "Five Star Performance" in March 2007. The song is currently undergoing a re-vamp for possible commercial release in the near future.
