I dunno if this article is right... Trekkie Monster and Cookie Monster dont look much alike, one is brown with long hair and close beedy eyes and a big tuft of purple hair, the other is blue with short fuzz hair, no hair on the head, googly eyes etc. They do SOUND very alike though.

The Trekkie page says that Trekkie's name was taken to compare him to the (Star) Trekkie stereotype. Porn. Computers. Internet. Solitude. Apparently. Although I'm just not sure, considering there is no direct neference to nerdiness, scifi, etc. Any thoughts? samwaltz 22:01, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
