Wikipedia talk:Translation/ ja

We specifically moved the Japanese translation to WikiProject Japan as that brought more interested people to help with it than it ever had before (many people didn't even know it existed). I recommend redirecting this page there as we've been able to keep on top of it quite nicely since moving it. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 21:46, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- I support moving the page here, as suggested on the talk page. I think it's better for all the translation pages to be grouped together in a consistent way, to make it easier to coordinate the process of requesting and carrying out translations. It might also make it possible to spread the same system to the Japanese Wikipedia, making it easier to request English to Japanese translations.
- I've had enough spare time to do translations for several articles in the past few months, but there don't seem to be many active translators on the page at the moment. I'd also like to see a larger number of requests. --Grgcox 15:03, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've changed the destination of the proposed merge to Wikipedia:Translation/lang/*/ja, since there is information on that page, whereas this page is still blank. -- Grgcox 18:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
