Travis Rice

Travis Rice (born in Jackson Hole, Wyoming) is considered by many to be among the best snowboarders in the world. He has excellent all-around skills in backcountry, park, and pipe. He is known for his massive airs and fearless approach to difficult tricks. His sponsors include Lib Tech Snowboards, Oakley Goggles, Bluebird Wax, DC Shoes, Quicksilver, NEFF Headwear, Grenade Gloves, Jacks Garage, Nixon, and Ampd-Cellular.

[edit] 2006-2007 season

Travis started the season successfully by winning the Nokia Air and Style event in Munich, fighting off competition from Shaun White, Antti Autti and David Benedek amongst others. The Air and Style are considered to be some of the most prestigious Big air events on the snowboarding calendar. He is super steezy. Travis Rice is no longer a member of Oakley's Global Snowboard team. BALLIN!
