Travis Chick

Travis Cole Chick (b. June 10, 1984) is an American Major League Baseball pitcher. He has been used as both a starting pitcher and a relief pitcher.

Chick, who was born in Irving, Texas, was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 14th round of the 2002 amateur entry draft. In 2004, he was traded to the San Diego Padres, who subsequently traded Chick and Justin Germano to the Cincinnati Reds for Joe Randa on July 23, 2005. On July 6, 2006 he was again traded, this time to the Seattle Mariners for RHP Eddie Guardado and cash considerations.

Chick was assigned to the Double-A San Antonio Missions. Chick wore number 10 while with the Missions. He was called up to the Mariners in September and made his major league debut on September 13, 2006.
