Traun is a 153 km long river in Upper Austria, Austria. Its source is in the Salzkammergut area. It flows through the lakes Hallstätter See and Traunsee. It is a tributary of the Danube, which it meets near the city Linz. Other cities along the Traun are Bad Ischl, Gmunden, Wels and Traun.
