Hey Stoopid (1991) |
Trash was the 1989 smash album by legendary shock-rock singer Alice Cooper. It featured "Poison", Cooper's first top ten hit since the release of "You And Me" in 1977. Videos were made for the above mentioned song, House of Fire, Bed of Nails and Only My Heart Talkin'. After Alice's return to the music industry in 1986 with the successful tour "The Nightmare Returns", Cooper had sought assistance from Desmond Child to create a comeback album. "Trash" became one of the performer's biggest albums, and was accompanied by a successful year-long worldwide concert tour which was documented in the home video release "Alice Cooper Trashes The World". The song Bed of Nails was covered by Finnish melodic death metal group Children of Bodom.
The album features guest appearances by Jon Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler, and Kane Roberts, who left the Alice Cooper line-up after the 1987-88 World Tour.
