Transtherapy

Transtherapy is a reform movement in psychotherapy and in the mental helping professions started in the early part of this century. It is an association of practitioners who are critical of the trends of commercialism, medicalization, bureaucratization and idolization in psychotherapy.

Transtherapy is not an accrediting body, neither is it a code of ethics involving external sanctions. It is rather a point of view or a system of values, taken on voluntarily
