Transport F.C.

Transport F.C. were a football club in Ireland who played in the Football League of Ireland for fourteen seasons from 1948/49 to 1961/62.
During their time in the League of Ireland, Transport played their home matches for the first three seasons in the Carlisle Grounds in Bray, Co. Wicklow and the remaining eleven seasons in Harold's Cross Stadium in Dublin.
The high point of Transport's time in league football came when they won the FAI Cup in 1950, beating Cork Athletic 3-1 after two 2-2 draws.
After leaving the league, Transport had further success in the FAI Intermediate Cup, winning the trophy in 1964, 1966, and 1974.
