Translation (religion)

In religion, translation can mean:
- the appointment or move of a bishop of the church from one see or diocese to another;
- the removal of a saint's relics from one church to a new shrine in another (as, for example, at Winchester under Walkelin);
- translation (Mormon), a religious belief in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- Bodily ascent to Heaven.
