Transit first
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Transit First was the trading name of a company that operated bus services in the south western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It operated buses (along with Veolia Transport NSW) in the southwestern suburbs of Sydney in the area bounded by Liverpool, Parramatta, Liverpool and Bankstown. These routes underwent a reorganisation from 18 September 2006, along with the introduction of 2 Strategic Sydney bus routes, the 900 and the 910.
On 9 January 2007 it was announced that the operations of Transit First had been purchased by Veolia Transport NSW. [1] The handover was effected on 1 February 2007.
