Transcutaneous is an adjective meaning penetrating, entering, or passing through the intact skin. Some examples of this are transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (see TENS), transcutaneous measurement of oxygen in tissues for medical monitoring, and transcutaneous delivery of drugs.

Transcutaneous is in contrast to "percutaneous", meaning through a disruption in the skin.
