Form
Octaved Cs start the piece off and then it immediately does a downward run. Then a furious set of impetuous notes climb slowly and then it returns to the octaved Cs and the downward run. The furious set of notes climb even higher, and then a set of loud chords blare in fff. Then the left hand plays some loud, low pitched trills in succession. After that the right hand plays some intense arpeggiated figures, and then a final closing chord, reminiscent of a door being slammed shut.
