Tranmere is a suburb of Hobart, capital of Tasmania, Australia. The suburb is in the Local Government Area of City of Clarence, and lies in close proximity to Howrah and Rokeby.

Tranmere is a beachside suburb, with views across the Derwent River to the Hobart city centre. It is mostly residential and is one of the fastest growing areas in southern Tasmania[citation needed].
