Tranmere, South Australia

Tranmere (34°54′S 138°39′E , postcode 5073) is an eastern suburb of Adelaide South Australia. The name Tranmere was given to the home of David Wylie in 1838, who owned this portion of land. Tranmere was the name of a place near Liverpool, England where Wylie migrated from.

Tranmere is in the City of Campbelltown local government area, the South Australian House of Assembly electoral district of Hartley and the Australian House of Representatives Division of Sturt.
