Train Of Consequences was the first single from Megadeth's 1994 album, Youthanasia. The song reached #29 on the Billboard US Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and #22 in the UK. Its music video received significant airplay on MTV, debuting during the Halloween special, Night of the Living Megadeth, which coincided with the album's release date of October 31, 1994. The single, which helped make Youthanasia the band's fifth consecutive Platinum album, includes Youthanasia track "Black Curtains," as well as the previously unreleased "Crown of Worms" and live recordings of several other Megadeth songs.
Lyrically, "Train of Consequences" deals with the destructive habit of gambling.
