Tracy is a city in Platte County, Missouri, along the Platte River. The population was 213 at the 2000 census.

Tracy is located at 39°22′39″N, 94°47′34″W (39.377543, -94.792817)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 km² (0.2 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 213 people, 79 households, and 60 families residing in the city. The population density was 373.8/km² (987.4/mi²). There were 86 housing units at an average density of 150.9/km² (398.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.18% White, 1.41% African American, and 1.41% from two or more races.

There were 79 households out of which 34.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.1% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.8% were non-families. 20.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.07.

In the city the population was spread out with 25.8% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 29.1% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.7 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $51,250, and the median income for a family was $54,375. Males had a median income of $33,750 versus $25,972 for females. The per capita income for the city was $21,082. About 11.5% of families and 9.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 9.5% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those sixty five or over.
