Tracks Ahead

Tracks Ahead was a television series about model trains, produced by Milwaukee Public Television for PBS starting in 1990. The host was Chuck Zehner from 1990-2000, succeeded by Spencer Christian (2000-present).
The show interviewed model train enthusiasts such as George Sellios and Ward Kimball, and sometimes focused on real trains as well.
There are currently six series of this show available on DVD. The last two seasons were shot in high definition (1080i) and season six has Dolby 5.1 surround sound.
A seventh season is currently being shot, and is planned for late 2008. The primary audience for the show has been indicated to be woman and children.
