[edit] Sequel or remake?
This game is in fact a sequel, not a remake. -- (Unsigned) Link
A "wii-make"; they went there, didn't they? -- Old Guard 06:31, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
This month's Nintendo Power clarifies that this is definitely a remake (err, yes, "wii-make") and not a new title or sequel. Since Atlus apparently started development quite recently (roughly January or February of 2006), there wasn't enough time to do a full fledged sequel. -- Slordak 02:49, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hoax?
google search turns up nothing. If no one can provide a reference, i'm labeling this article a hoax. --Philo 06:58, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Two New Tools
I just did an interview with Atlus USA (located here: http://wiivolve.com/article.php?articleId=13&page=1) and they said that there would be two new tools, but only one of them is known to the public at this time (Defibrillator). I'm going to add this to the article.

[edit] Story
To be honest, I know very little about the story in Chapter 6, and it would be nice if someone who knows more about the game would edit the story section and also leave out any blanks I left out. --NelsonJ 23:21, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
The article assumes a complete knowledge of the game on which this is based. As I have no knowledge of either this or the previous game, it'd be nice if someone who's played at least one could flesh out some of the more basic details involved in the game - storyline, premises, basic concepts, etc. lithium3141 23:07, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've put up a gameplay section back in Under the Knife and linked back to that from this article, is that was you were looking for? --Masem 00:44, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Trivia
Snakes on a plane.. no. Caduceus on a Plane is not related to that. Snakes used to staff of Hermes (Surprise, surprise, a medical symbol) and so does a medical game! Nothing to do with each other. (Previous unsigned comment made by HalosLikeNooses).
- Having played the original and this version, the fact that the one mission that actually takes place on a plane gets a name change in the Wii version to what would be the rather unoriginal "Caduceus on a Plane" would seem to be a stupid move, but when considering the "Snakes on a Plane" movie, in conjunction with the Caduceus symbol and the snakes on it, makes this title a rather clever pun. --Masem 05:04, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Missing Anything Important?
I was wondering, I know that Second Opinion is essentially a remake of Under the Knife (Which I have not played) and have heard that the final chapters are different in both. I looked up both entries on Wiki (hence be being here) and confirmed this, but I was wondering if since aparantly alot of things are implied from Under the Knife in Second Opinion in regards to Chapter Six. I was wondering if Id be missing anything important by not playing the DS version or not, since I noticed there were also several "major changes" in the levels too. I just dont want to miss anything that could be important.

[edit] EU Release Date
I'm changing the release date for the EU back to "TBA". The site that's listed as the source for the 30th March release date seems to be pretty unreliable - they also listed Metroid Prime 3 for a 23rd February release date, which is just plain untrue. Also, official sites like Nintendo Europe have no concrete release date for it in the EU. Kupos 19:41, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Release Date
Numerous 3rd party Wii games were released on November 15, 2006 in America. That's when I purchased the game. I don't know why games were released 4 days early, but they were. Whenever I update this page to add in the correct release date, it is edited out. -YoshiRox10

GameSpot: http://www.gamespot.com/wii/adventure/traumacentersecondopinion/index.html
It lists the shipping date, the 14th.
I understand that the game is widely considered to be released on the 19th, and even the website says the 19th, but many people were able to purchase this game on the 15th. I'll e-mail Atlus as verification. I honestly had the game in my hands on the 15th.

Game FAQS also says the shipping date is the 14th: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/data/933018.html
I'lle-mail atlus soon asking them about this.
