[edit] When did Egypt Railways start?
An article in "The Middle East" magazine of April 2005 credits Egyptian Railways as having started in 1825.
This beats even the ground breaking Liverpool and Manchester Railway opened in 1830. The date surely cannot be right.
When did Egyptian Railways start. 1835 or 1845 would sound more reasonable.
