Weren't the Whigs a party in the US, UK, Liberia, and Canada? Scott Ritchie 06:23, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The Whigs, to my knowledge, were seperate parties run by different people in each country. There's lots of liberal parties, for example, but they are not related in any way apart from their philosophy. Sinn Fein, on the other hand, is just one organisation which stands in two countries.
