[edit] Tumours in other areas of the body

According to a recent Japanese TV programme there is a hospital in Tokyo that is using TACE on throat, oesphageal, and metastased bone cancers. The doctor is good at getting to any part of the body via the arteries and injecting chemotherapeutic drugs near to cancer to dry and kill it and the blood vessels supplying it. From the examples shown the technique seemed to be semi-palliative but combined well with surgery. According to an internet search there is also a professor in Frankfurt.--Timtak 05:22, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
