With the Camaro and Challenger being revived in 2009, would it not be appropriate to have the Mustang compete against them in a new Trans Am Series? This would be more true to its roots. If successful, perhaps the Firebird, Cougar, and Barracuda could be revived. Then we'd have a true Trans Am Series, minus AMC of course. 67.188.172.165 19:27, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

While these accidents did happen on the same weekend at the same track, they were not in the Trans-Am race. McLean was driving a GT40, and the others were in Ferarris. Sorry, I was logged out on the edit. Cam Finnigan 15:00, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
