[edit] Merge or delete?

This article and those that link to it (nn-bios, almost universally) seem to have all been created by the founder of the magazine, and thus count as self-promotion in my eyes. The interlocking articles make them look like they are not a walled garden at first, but I'm not certain. What is the readership of thise 18-month-old magazine? Where has it been referenced? How do we verify and expand the article so that it doesn't fall to AfD, or how do we ensure that we're not being scammed to help promote something that hasn't achieved encyclopedic notability yet? I'm going to grab more data on the bios of the contributors later tonight (probably)... -- nae'blis (talk) 23:45, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

I was bold and merged most of the contributers' articles into this one. This was not meant to be a commentary about the overall suitability of the article into Wikipedia. aliceinlampyland 13:56, 27 February 2006 (UTC).
      • Please delete. The magazine was closed in September 2005. The intentions of the original article(s) were to provide information on the magazine and contributors - most of which are notable authors and known persons. The magazine was published independantly with a fairly large circulation that was comparable to other listed magazines within Wikipedia and so the article was created with little knowledge of the workings of Wikipedia but with the thought that it was proper protocol. The subsequent articles were based on feedback from other editors and what was believed to be the proper procedure at the time (i.e. if there is a name or subject listed then add a link even if no articles exist, and then since no article existed I created the new articles, and the whole thing unfolded as you saw it). It all seemed like it was a good idea at the time - just call it an unfortunate learning experience. AislingBronach 11:55, 29 April 2006 (EST).
