- This was the entry by Arniep that I moved to discussion. It didn't make sense to me but I wanted to open it for discussion without littering the main category page or subjecting Arniep to the three revert rule if she/he has a valid point that I am missing. IMHO To call the Travolta family only full siblings of John Travolta and their descendants seems odd to me, plus it actually eliminates John Travolta from being a member of the Travolta family as well as his wife. The point Arniep said about trying to keep a distant relative from being named a member of the family didn't make sense either because if they're a distant relative then they're probably not going to be notable enough for an article anyway. - Look, there was a big problem with a guy called Rikki Lee Travolta who is some kind of cousin to John trying to add himself to this category. It involved spreading a huge amount of false information to Wikipedia as part of a publicity stunt. I am restoring the wording with John included. Arniep 13:07, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

- I moved this back to discussion. I think we need to actually discuss as a community and come to a common concensus before moving any kind of oddly worded terminology back and forth like this. I think that is supposed to be done here in Discussion but if it is supposed to be done somewhere else please correct me and I won't mind. If there is a cousin that is notable enough for a page then that still constitutes family and the name of the category is "Travolta family". However there doesn't appear to be a page on Rikki Lee Travolta. If a category is going to include just siblings then it would need to be a seperate category like "John Travolta's Siblings". The very name of the category "Travolta family" means that it would include exactly that: the whole Travolta family. If you want to create a more restricted category like "John Travolta's Siblings" then I think it would be a different category. IMHO DonnaMo 22:51, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
