A TV travel show is a television program in which a host visits travel destinations, demonstrating local cuisine, lodging, or attractions. § Travel Television is aimed at travellers who are thirsty for new and exciting destinations to discover. Canadian travellers are increasingly aware of the need to expand their horizons when travelling. More and more people move away from the “traditional” vacation spots, to venture into new destinations and learn about the cultures of the world. Travel Television is the only travel show on the Shaw Multicultural Channel, Channel 20 the only Multicultural broadcaster in British Columbia Canada.
