TP Systems, Inc.

TP Systems, Inc. was a software development firm specializing in commercial software for the IBM PCs and compatibles. Development included a symbolic debugger for multi-tasking environments such as Desqview, a BBS communications program, and numerous utility programs.

The firm was founded by Michael Todd and John Poindexter, hence the name TP Systems, Inc. Todd was the founder of the Capital PC Users Group in Washington, D.C., the founder of the IBM Special Interest Group on CompuServe, and is currently the President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Internet Society.

Poindexter is known as the chief architect of the Iran-Contra Affair. He was also the firm's chief designer, i.e., according to his resume, he also programmed and designed software for TP Systems, Inc., including the two mentioned above, a symbolic debugger and BBS communications system.
