Following Wikipedia policy on article names (which says "What .. would the average user of the Wikipedia put into the search engine?") we have been listing Japanese woodblock prints artists under the names they are commonly known by in the West - which means we do not use their complete names (which are rarely used in the West, and for artists of this era change over time anyway). I wish it had been closer, because I'd like to have made it a disambiguation page for the other Toyokuni's, and put him in as Toyokuni I, but c'est la vie. I'll try and do a disambig on this page.
