Towson University Honors College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Towson University's Honors College provides an "enhanced" undergraduate experience for more than 700 talented and high achieving students. Professors from all academic colleges teach honors classes in 62 majors and departments. Academic opportunities include small honors classes that offer more intimate student-faculty interaction and satisfy General Education requirements, early registration, and recognition on the student’s transcript and diploma. All accepted first year students receive an Honors College scholarship. Social benefits include an option to live in honors housing in a community that integrates residential living with classroom activity. Students also have opportunities to participate in special social, cultural and leadership activities.
