The Town of Albany was a Local Government Area of Western Australia for the town of Albany (35°01′S 117°53′E; post code: 6330) in the Great Southern region of Western Australia on Great Southern Highway, 410km south-south-east of the capital, Perth.

In 1871, the Albany Municipal Council was gazetted. On 1 July 1961, it became the Town Council following changes to the Local Government Act. It amalgamated with the Shire of Albany to become the City of Albany on 1 July 1998.
